Jan is the head of Direct Investments. Before he served as Senior Investment Manager in the Fund of Funds’ team. He started his career working for 10+ yrs at ABB & ALSTOM in various technical and commercial functions in the power generation industry. He worked before in Cleantech Venture Capital, working with technology start-ups in the field of renewables & energy efficiencies, or sustainable water and e-mobility. Before joining Triple Jump, he was a Partner at Obviam AG, the manager of the Swiss DFI mandate SIFEM, responsible for fund and direct investments in Asia. He also served on investment committees and advised as technical expert European DFI co-investments vehicles targeting sustainable infrastructure projects in Emerging Markets. Jan holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hanover (Germany) and a MBA from HEC Paris (France).
