Head of Portfolio Management

36-40 hours per week, Amsterdam

Role
As Head of Portfolio Management you will be responsible for top-down portfolio construction, and liquidity and currency management for the funds under Triple Jump’s management and advisory. Your department will be responsible for the relationship with investors/fund sponsors regarding strategic allocation policies, analysis of portfolio exposures and fund performance. You will work closely with our Credit Risk Department and our Investment Team regarding monitoring of the portfolio’s, the country and sector allocations. You will report to the managing director and will have three direct reports yourself. The position requires limited travel to countries where Triple Jump is active. The position is based in Amsterdam. Candidates must possess a valid working permit for the European Union.

Job requirements

  • > 7 years of relevant work experience in a portfolio management role with an asset and/or fund manager, preferably in fixed income or alternative investments.
  • Proven country/macroeconomic analysis skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills and a detail orientation
  • Experience with institutional client relationship management.
  • 2-3 years of managerial experience or the desire to grow into a managerial role
  • Capable of independent decision-making
  • Relevant experience working with financial intermediaries, preferably in emerging markets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial mind set
  • Superior written and verbal communication
  • Fluency in English
  • Additional preferred characteristics:
    –   Previous working experience in frontier financial markets

Head of Legal

Expectations

As Head of Legal you will be responsible for Triple Jump’s legal team, consisting of six members. The legal team is mainly involved in private equity, fund of funds and debt transactions, and works closely with our investment teams and support functions. Your role will be to coach the team, act as their sounding board, monitor activities, assist with complex transactions and engage/co-ordinate external advisors. In addition, you will also be responsible for corporate and regulatory legal matters regarding Triple Jump and its investment vehicles.  You will report directly to the Director Fund Services and act as a sparring partner for the Executive Board.

Job Requirements

  • A master of law/law degree (as applicable), preferably in Dutch or UK law;
  • Management experience;
  • At least 7 years of relevant legal experience in debt, private equity and/or fund of funds, preferably with transactions in international environment;
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, contract and financial law, preferably through working at an international law firm or financial institution;
  • Knowledge of regulatory law is a prerequisite;
  • Capable of independent decision-making, ability to assess and balance legal risk with business interests;
  • Affinity with Triple Jump’s mission and vision;
  • A valid work permit for the European Union;
  • Fluent in English, good knowledge of Dutch, Spanish or French preferred

IT Manager

Job Description

As IT Manager you will be responsible for Triple Jump’s IT Department, consisting of two members. As IT Manager you will head this department and fulfil a vital role within our organization. You will have the responsibility for our overall ICT strategy managing our IT infrastructure, outsourced services and analyzing and satisfying the information needs of our business units.

The key responsibilities are the following:

  • Develop Triple Jump’s IT strategy;
  • Keep IT and information policies and plans up to date and provide subsequent recommendations to the Executive Board;
  • Monitor and manage the IT budget;
  • Coordinate IT related projects such as system update, implementation of new regulations etc;
  • Identify ICT information requirements and align these with the relevant departments within Triple Jump;
  • Contribute to the further deployment of the ERP system;
  • Convert the IT strategies and policies into daily practice;
  • Engage in and monitor contracts and Service Level Agreements with suppliers and ensure adequate performance;
  • Be responsible for day-to-day operations of the IT department including supervision of the team.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor Degree in ICT or Information Management;
  • At least working 5 years in IT, and 3 years proven experience in a managerial position and with project management skills (such as PRINCE2, agile and scrum, preferably certified);
  • Experience with advising organizations in the field of ICT and Information Management;
  • Experience with outsourcing IT services to providers and the management of management contracts;
  • Strong planning and communication skills;
  • Extensive knowledge of Information Technology solutions and application development;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with security frameworks (ISO 27000-series, COBIT) and), risk analysis and IT service management (ITIL);
  • Knowledge of database management (SQL) and database warehousing.

Junior Financial Fund Administrator

32-40 hours per week, initially for 1 year, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Expectations

To support the financial fund administration, we are looking for a junior financial administrative employee. This person will deal with all work in the financial fund administration and be responsible for:

  • administrating the funds debt and equity administration in different currencies;
  • invoicing clients, monitoring their payment behavior and providing follow-up in arrears;
  • periodic reports for the funds under management;
  • bank bookings and reconciliations;
  • setting up foreign exchange hedges;
  • contributing to the optimization of processes and data capture;
  • liaising with (inter)national colleagues and clients.

Job Requirements

  • education at least college (HBO) level;
  • experience in managing complex financial records;
  • proven experience with accounts receivables;
  • excellent knowledge of MS Word and Excel;
  • excellent knowledge of English, basic knowledge of Spanish and Dutch is required;
  • international treasury experience is a plus;

As an Intern Online Marketing Plan you will help Triple Jump set up and implement an Online Marketing Plan, which includes:

  • Describing the impact investing market and its stakeholders;
  • Describing the online strategy of the largest competitors;
  • Defining the target audience and our message to them;
  • Defining an online marketing strategy;
  • Implementing the online marketing strategy

Requirements

You are a Communication student with specific knowledge of Online Marketing (SEO). You are well motivated and have excellent communication and writing skills. You have a profound knowledge of the Dutch and English language. You are a self-starter, critical, proactive and creative. As Legal Support Clerk you will join the Legal team and assist with a variety of administrative tasks.

You will be involved in:

  • drafting NDAs, waiver requests, appointment letters and other agreements based on our standard templates;
  • assisting with KYC checks and compliance requests;
  • organizing and updating the physical and electronic legal databases;
  • handling correspondence;
  • filing documents and other administrative tasks.

Job requirements

You are a law student, fluent in Dutch, English and preferably Spanish. You have some administrative experience, or you simply like order and structure.
