Nekesa joins Triple Jump’s Sustainable Energy team from Open Capital (OCA), a management consulting and financial advisory firm in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) working with small and growing businesses, investors and development partners to accelerate growth and investment in the region. At OCA, Nekesa worked in various roles on projects across SSA specifically in agriculture, health, renewable off-grid energy, and water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH), where much of the work focused on assessing creditworthiness of institutions and identifying pre- & post-investment support opportunities to ensure effective capital and resource mobilization. Nekesa holds a Bsc. In Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi where she graduated with a First-Class Honors. She has completed eight actuarial professional papers under the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries of the UK. Nekesa is a Kenyan national, and she speaks Kiswahili and English.
