Our story so far

Jarri Jung, Director of Financial Institutions, joined Triple Jump in 2012. He initially worked on the implementation of a new MIS system and was involved in the setup of Triple Jump as an AIFM licensed investment company. He then moved to the commercial team in Latin America, where he started as a Portfolio Analyst in Lima and later as an investment officer in Mexico. In 2015, Jarri transitioned to Nairobi as Investment Officer in the Africa Middle East team. From 2017 onwards, he has overseen Triple Jump’s debt investment portfolio as Regional Manager of Africa and Middle East. As of September 2019, Jarri heads up the Financial Institutions team. Jarri holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and HR, and a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Tilburg University (Netherlands). He is a Dutch National and speaks Dutch, English and Spanish.

Tatiana has extensive experience in qualitative microfinance in the Caucasus, Central Asia, Eastern part of Russia and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Tatiana served as a senior credit MSME advisor at BFC, Swiss-German consulting company, where she participated at a variety of micro lending capacity building assignments with banks and MFIs. Tatiana’s areas of expertise include Credit and Financial analysis, Strategy development, Risk management and Internal audit. Tatiana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking from Moldovan Academy of Economics. She also studied Business Administration at Susquehanna University, USA. Tatiana is a national from Ukranie and speaks English, Russian and Romanian.

Tamar has more than 6 years  of experience in managing debt transactions with financial institutions in the Caucasus, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Tamar has served as a Credit Risk Analysis Manager at JSC TBC Bank. Tamar’s areas of expertise include Credit and Financial analysis, Strategy development, Portfolio and Risk management. Tamar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgian American University (GAU). She has also covered Financial Quantitative and Risk Management program in GAU and participated in Changing Program Conducted by KPMG Sweden – Poverty Reduction (Fiscal Decentralization, Program budgeting). Tamar is a national from Georgia and speaks English, Russian and Georgian.

Givi has almost 14 years of experience in banking. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Givi was a credit risk officer at JSC BasisBank Hualing Group Member, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Givi holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Law from Tbilisi State University, Georgia and an LL.M. degree in European and International Law from the University of Bremen, Germany. Givi is a national of Georgia and speaks Georgian, English, Russian and German.

Prior to joining Triple Jump in 2016, Olivier worked as Investment Officer in the MENA region at Triodos Investment Management. Before joining the impact investment industry, Olivier gained extensive experience in financial services, working at the international department of one of the bigger leasing companies worldwide. Working for ‘Credits’ (a Dutch MFI) as a coach for small entrepreneurs, Olivier developed his interest for microfinance. Olivier holds a law degree from the Leiden University and an MBA degree from HEC School of Management. Born in France, Olivier speaks fluent French, English and Dutch.

Prior to joining Triple Jump in 2022, Ryan was the Portfolio Manager of the REGMIFA Fund at Symbiotics based in Geneva. He also spent five years working as a Senior Investment Analyst at Symbiotics in Cape Town covering Sub-Saharan Africa. Before joining the impact investment industry, Ryan worked in asset securitization in New York. His first exposure to microfinance and impact investment occurred while he served as a volunteer in the Peace Corps (Dominican Republic and Zambia), where he focused on grassroots projects that supported education and community economic development. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Cape Town. Ryan is an American national and speaks English.

Valentine has over 5.5 years of experience in the Project and Development Finance sector. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Valentine worked for 2 years in the Energy Access industry at Equatorial Power, a start-up for which she was based in Kampala, Uganda. As a Finance and Business Development Manager, she was responsible for the company’s fundraising activities (Equity, Corporate and Project Debt, Grant), as well as for its project’s structuration and development. Previously, she worked for more than 3 years as a Senior Consultant at H3P Financial Advisory, a Paris based consulting firm, focused on infrastructure projects, for which she supported many multinational and investment funds in project investments deals. Valentine holds a Master in Finance with a speciality in Energy and Environment Finance. She is a French national and speaks French and English.

Prior to joining Triple Jump in 2024, Seleu worked as a Project Officer at Investisseur & Partenaire (I&P), a leading impact investor in Africa. In this role, he led deal origination, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of debt and equity investments in SMEs across Central Africa, spanning sectors like agriculture, energy, textiles, and technology. Before I&P, he worked at an investment advisory firm, structuring deals across Africa. Seleu holds a Master's degree in International Relations with a specialization in International Banking and Finance from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC). He is a Cameroonian national and is fluent in both French and English.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Sylvie worked for over twelve years at MicroFinanza Rating, an international rating agency specialized in inclusive finance, as a Senior Analyst also covering the positions of Regional Manager for Africa (until 2015) and Head of the Tender Unit and Deputy Regional Manager for South East Asia. In her financial analyst role, she conducted over 100 financial and social ratings, due diligence assignments, and client protection certifications mainly in Africa and Asia. Sylvie holds an MSc in Economics and Management of Public Administration and International Organizations from Bocconi University (Italy) and a Postgraduate Master Degree in Development and International Cooperation (CID Bologna, Italy). She is an Italian and French native speaker and fluent in English.

Bhavika joined Triple Jump's Financial Institution practice in April 2022. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Bhavika worked in the treasury function with SK Finance Limited and NeoGrowth Credit Pvt Ltd and in the Investment Banking team of AK Capital Services Limited. She has experience in Fund raising, Investor Relations and Capital Markets in India’s Banking and Financial Institutions sector. Bhavika is a qualified Chartered Accountant with Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Bachelors in Commerce with H.R College of Commerce and Economics. Bhavika is an Indian National and speaks English, Hindi and multiple regional languages of India.

Prior to joining Triple Jump Todd worked at Wells Fargo bank in the USA, in SME consulting in Bolivia and at Oxfam Novib as Investment Officer in microfinance. Todd joined Triple Jump in 2007 and has since held multiple roles in the financial institutions debt investment team, such as Regional Manager for South America, Regional Manager for Africa, Middle East & Asia Pacific, and Credit Risk & Restructuring Manager. Since 2019, Todd is Equity Investment Officer (Financial Institutions), covering multiple regions. Todd holds a MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, a Master in European Business and Business Law from Lund University, Sweden, and a BA in Business Administration from George Fox University, USA. He is an American national and speaks English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Christofer worked at EY, auditing impact funds and MIVs. Before that, he worked at the French Development Agency (AFD) in Cambodia where he was responsible for supporting the local private and financial sector. He speaks French, English and Spanish.

Rashad joined Triple Jump's Financial Institution practice in April 2022. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Rashad worked as Vice President on the debt capital market desk of Yubi, an Indian fintech unicorn, and Vivriti Capital since early 2018, where he gained exposure across investment life cycle across impact investment space in India. Rashad holds an MBA from Trinity College Dublin, a Bachelors in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and is currently working towards clearing CFA Level 3. Rashad is an Indian National and speak English, Hindi, and Urdu.

Prior to joining Triple Jump as a Junior Investment Officer in the Lima office, Kenny did a 9-months internship in Lima at Oikocredit as an Investment officer where he developed a strong interest in Microfinance and Impact Investing. Kenny holds a master’s degree in Finance & Risk from the University of Ghent and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is a Belgian national with origins in Peru and speaks Dutch, English, Spanish, intermediate French and basic German. He is currently finishing the certified expert in Microfinance course at the Frankfurt University.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Ward worked in the private equity sector of which the last two years in Argentina. Previously he worked for ten years in the Dutch market with Halder (currently GIMV). His focus was on buy outs of mid-sized companies. He started his career in marketing & sales and also worked as a managing consultant. Ward holds a Master Degree in Business Economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is a Dutch national and speaks English, Dutch, Spanish and German.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Orsolya worked as Country Manager at the Council of Europe Development Bank financing small enterprises and social projects in Central and Eastern Europe. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs and Development Studies from Princeton University. Orsolya is a Hungarian national and speaks Hungarian, English and French.

Clemens leads Triple Jump's Fund Investments business line, including the team responsible for the investment selection of track “Investment Funds local SMEs” of the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF) – a mandate provided by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2014. Prior to this role, Clemens worked as a Senior Investment Manager for Triple Jump’s Microfinance Investments in Africa. Clemens is a German national and his background spans environmental sciences, management consulting and work in Mozambique’s financial sector.

Kristoffer has worked with development finance, venture capital and private equity in both developed and emerging markets for more than a decade. Kristoffer has served as the shareholder representative and advisory committee member of several financial institutions and private equity funds in Central America, Africa and South East Asia. Kristoffer holds a MSc in Industrial Relations from London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and a degree in Economics & Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics & Business Administration.

Marie works in the Fund Investment department, covering the identification, assessment and monitoring of fund investments in emerging markets. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Marie worked as a consultant at Carnegie Consult, advising public and semi-public institutions on inclusive finance in developing countries and emerging markets. Marie holds an MSc in Finance and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and a BSc in International Economics from the University of Tübingen, Germany. She is a German national and speaks English, German, Dutch, Spanish and French.

Aaron is part of the Fund Investments team responsible for sourcing, assessing, and monitoring investments that contribute to solving some of the challenges in developing and frontier markets. He serves as a shareholder representative on a number of venture capital and private equity funds across Africa and the Caucasus region. Previously, he worked in the financial services industry as an operational specialist in hedge funds and alternative investments. Originally from Canada, he now resides in Amsterdam. He holds a B.Comm in Economics from the University of Guelph.

Mehdi has a background in development finance and impact investing. Prior to joining Triple Jump, he worked at the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development in the private equity funds department and at a VC fund based in Morocco. He holds an interdisciplinary master's degree in International Finance and Environmental Studies from the Graduate Institute of Geneva and a bachelor's from the University Mohamed VI Polytechnique (FGSES). Mehdi speaks English, Arabic, and French and is originally from Casablanca, Morocco.

Carolina works in the Fund Investment department, covering the identification, assessment, and monitoring of fund investments in emerging markets. Carolina has more than 10 years’ work experience and prior to joining Triple Jump, she worked in a Dutch impact investment fund, making direct investments in Europe with potential global operations. She holds an MSc in economics, law, and psychology from Universiteit van Amsterdam & Vrije Universiteit (Amsterdam, NL); an LL.M in Corporate Lar from Institute of Education and Research (São Paulo/BR) and LL.B Bachelor of Laws from Pontifical Catholic University (São Paulo/BR). She is a Brazilian & Portuguese citizen and speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Jayme is responsible for Portfolio Management within our Fund Investments business line, including top-down portfolio construction, financial modelling, and reporting. He joined Triple Jump coming from Rabo Investments, and prior to that worked in different roles in the areas of Valuation and Control in banks in the Netherlands and Brazil. Jayme holds a MSc degree in International Finance from University of Amsterdam, a BSc from University of Sao Paulo, and a CAIA designation.

Max has joined the Investor Relations and Business Development team at Triple Jump as a trainee at the start of 2023. While working for Triple Jump, he is currently also enrolled in the 'Advanced Master in International Development' Young Professional Program at the Radboud University. Max holds an MSc in Global Business and Sustainability from the Erasmus University and BSc in International Business Administration from the Radboud University. Max is a Dutch national and speaks English and Dutch.

Experienced finance professional with a strong background in asset management and banking. Skilled in portfolio and risk management, establishing efficient communication with stakeholders, and contributing to internal process improvement. Committed to delivering outstanding results and exceeding expectations in a challenging and dynamic environment. Always eager to learn and take on new challenges. Outside of my professional pursuits, I can be found exploring new hiking trails, planning my next travel adventure, or immersing myself in the vibrant energy of salsa dance floors.

<span style="font-size: 4vw;">Begaim works in the Seed Capital and Business Development department, covering efforts of ecosystem creation by supporting first time fund managers with seed capital and business development endeavors. She previously worked in private equity and debt to Financial Institutions. Begaim holds MSc in Risk Management from Art’s-et-Metiers, Paris. Begaim is a Kyrgyz national and speaks English, Russian, and French.</span>

Esteban works in the Seed Capital and Business Development Department, covering efforts of ecosystem development and creation through supporting first-time fund managers and early-stage SME finance initiatives with seed capital and business development support. He previously worked as a Private Equity Investment Manager at Incofin IM, a Belgian impact investor, supporting the equity portfolio for Latin America. Before joining the impact investing sector, Esteban worked for 6 years in Private Equity and Investment Banking in different industries and countries in Latin America. Esteban holds an MSc in Finance and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Los Andes University in Colombia. Esteban is a Colombian National and speaks Spanish and English.

Jan is the head of Direct Investments. Before he served as Senior Investment Manager in the Fund of Funds’ team. He started his career working for 10+ yrs at ABB &amp; ALSTOM in various technical and commercial functions in the power generation industry. He worked before in Cleantech Venture Capital, working with technology start-ups in the field of renewables &amp; energy efficiencies, or sustainable water and e-mobility. Before joining Triple Jump, he was a Partner at Obviam AG, the manager of the Swiss DFI mandate SIFEM, responsible for fund and direct investments in Asia. He also served on investment committees and advised as technical expert European DFI co-investments vehicles targeting sustainable infrastructure projects in Emerging Markets. Jan holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hanover (Germany) and a MBA from HEC Paris (France).

Mark is a co-founder of Triple Jump and has 20+ years of experience in impact investing. Before he joined Triple Jump’s Direct Investment team he was managing the Financial Institutions Debt and Equity teams, the Advisory Services team and the ESG &amp; Impact team. Prior to Triple Jump, Mark worked as the Head of the Financial Services Unit at Oxfam Novib. Before joining Oxfam Novib Mark worked at KBC Bank, in his last position as a director corporate banking. Mark holds a Masters in Science from the University of Leiden. He is Dutch national and speaks Dutch and English.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Darren worked in the investment strategy team for Australian Retirement Trust as an Associate Portfolio Manager for the global equities portfolio. He was responsible for the top down asset allocation strategy as well as providing macro-economic analysis. He has worked in various asset allocation and equity research roles in Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, and Ireland since 2007. He has been responsible for both buy and sell-side equity research, and developing multi-asset strategies and investment processes, including research, asset allocation, and security selection. Darren has a Bachelor of Finance from the University College Cork and has also passed the CFA level I exam.

Juliette is a project manager in the Financial Institutions department, working on the development of an affordable housing fund. Before Triple Jump, she was a consultant at iGravity, advising development agencies, foundations, and international NGOs on the design and implementation of innovative finance initiatives. Over the past years, she has also been involved in various advisory and research work in the affordable housing space. Juliette holds a dual master's degree in Finance &amp; Strategy from Sciences Po Paris and in International Affairs &amp; Governance from the University of St Gallen. She is a French and Canadian national.

Sascha works in the Direct Investments department, responsible for project management of the CEI Africa program. Prior to working on CEI Africa, Sascha was a consultant at Orchard Finance/ Carnegie consult, working on assignments related to corporate- and development finance. Other former roles include: associate of Triple Jump's Fund Investments team and relationship manager in the impact investing team of Actiam (Dutch Asset Manager). She holds a Msc. Finance from the University of Groningen and is a CFA charterholder.

Lara joined the Corporate Secretary at TJ as legal assistant in October 2022. Prior to TJ, Lara was the case manager of the Portuguese Desk in a Dutch Law firm and intern at the International Criminal Court. Lara is from Brazil, where she obtained her Bachelor degree and Bar qualification and practiced Law in two Brazilian Law firms. Lara was also member of a pro bono organization, providing voluntary legal services in São Paulo, Brazil. She is currently finalizing her LLM in International Technology Law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Katja works as Project Manager (Ad Interim) for CEI Africa. She has been working for more than ten years in renewable energy with a focus on financing off-grid projects in Africa. Most recently, she worked for Bamboo Capital Partners as Senior Investment Manager and for the German development agency (GIZ) as Team Leader in its energy project in Madagascar. Katja holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Banking) from the Berlin School of Economics and Law and a Master’s Degree in International Political Economy from the University of Southampton. She is fluent in German, English, and French; and conversational in Spanish.

Alina is currently advising on CEI Africa expansion and leading the organization of the DGGF 10-Year Event. She is an experienced program manager and SME support and finance expert with an extensive network within African entrepreneurship ecosystem. Alina holds an MBA degree from Amsterdam Business School and has almost two decades of professional experience spanning from corporate world to the development field. Her latest focus has been on designing, managing and implementing multi-country, multi-stakeholder donor-funded programs aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and innovation and closing the financing gap for the ‘missing middle’ in Africa. 

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Jeniffer worked at a Private Equity firm in Kenya where she was involved in investment transactions across various sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa. She holds a Bsc. in Financial Economics from Strathmore University (Kenya) and is a CAIA Charterholder.

Chloe joins Triple Jump's Sustainable Energy team, after obtaining over five years of strategy and capital raise experience with Open Capital, a management consulting and financial advisory firm working with small and growing businesses, investors and development partners to accelerate growth and investment across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Chloe has experience in delivering strategic solutions and facilitating investment for impactful businesses in sub-Saharan Africa across sectors including, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Water and Sanitation and Health (WASH), Financial Services, and Manufacturing. Under Open Capital, she led a Ugandan investment readiness program which supported ~40 small and growing businesses to tackle their financial and operational challenges; this technical support facilitated capital raise of ~$3 million from both international and local investors. Chloe holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (Bcom) from Makerere University Business School and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.

Mathilde joined Triple Jump’s sustainable energy practice in 2019. Prior to joining the impact investment sector, Mathilde worked for 10 years in the investment and corporate finance industry. As an Investment Manager at Activa Capital, Mathilde gained extensive experience in the full private equity investment cycle and helped French SMEs accelerate their development. Before that she worked at Nomura in mergers and acquisitions. Mathilde holds an MSc in Management with a Finance major from HEC Paris (France). She is a French and Finnish national and speaks French, English and Swedish.

Nekesa joins Triple Jump’s Sustainable Energy team from Open Capital (OCA), a management consulting and financial advisory firm in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) working with small and growing businesses, investors and development partners to accelerate growth and investment in the region. At OCA, Nekesa worked in various roles on projects across SSA specifically in agriculture, health, renewable off-grid energy, and water, sanitation &amp; hygiene (WASH), where much of the work focused on assessing creditworthiness of institutions and identifying pre- &amp; post-investment support opportunities to ensure effective capital and resource mobilization. Nekesa holds a Bsc. In Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi where she graduated with a First-Class Honors. She has completed eight actuarial professional papers under the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries of the UK. Nekesa is a Kenyan national, and she speaks Kiswahili and English.

Gaétane joined the impact investing sector after 9 years in banking, looking to match financial returns with social and economic development. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Gaétane worked in Renewable Energy Project Finance within Crédit Agricole, where she led debt transactions for utility-scale solar, wind and other infrastructure projects on the French market. Before that, she worked as a Team Lead in the General Inspection unit, where she gained extensive experience in auditing and advising Crédit Agricole affiliates on their strategy, operations and risk management in Europe, Asia and the US. Gaétane holds an Engineering degree from Supélec (France) and a MSc in Mathematical Finance from Imperial College London. She is a French national and speaks French and English.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Valentine was a co-founder of Urban Sprout, a startup focused on vertical agriculture in Kenya. Prior to that, she was an Advanced Agricultural Intern in Israel where she supported farmers in building greenhouses and value-addition in agricultural products. She holds a BSc. in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Nairobi. She is fluent in both English and Kiswahili.

As a Technical Assistance Manager for the Energy Entrepreneurs Growth Fund at Triple Jump, Kevin Barasa Wafula has a wealth of experience in the energy access field. Starting as a co-founder of Wake Energy in 2013, providing solar lighting solutions, he later joined EED Advisory in 2015 where he led and assisted in various projects promoting access to modern energy, including coordinating a €2-million EU project promoting solar PV-based energy solutions in Kenya, managing an initiative to develop a US$5-million energy sector plan for Turkana county, and supervising a national household energy survey supported by the World Bank. From 2019 at Mercy Corps Energy 4 Impact, as Program Manager, he provided advisory services to mSME clients aiming to unlock clean energy access in sub-Saharan Africa, through various programs including Innovate UK Energy Catalyst, Powering Opportunities Partnership and Powering Renewable Energy Opportunities. He also conducted market research, mapping, and interviewing energy government officials, manufacturers, distributors, financiers, and beneficiaries of energy products across sub-Saharan Africa. He has designed a result-based financing scheme for solar home systems, improved cookstoves, mini-grids, and agri-business energy solutions in Eastern DRC. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nairobi. Kevin is a Kenyan national and speaks English and Swahili.

Christophe joined Triple Jump in 2010 as Social Performance Coordinator and Investment Officer responsible for West Africa. He spent the first six years of his career in banking and asset management with Merrill Lynch in the US and the Syz Private Banking Group in Switzerland. He entered the field of international development in 2006 working in the strengthening of civil society in Macedonia and as a consultant for the transformation of a microfinance institution in Kosovo. Christophe holds an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona and a BA in Economics from New York University. He is a Swiss and French national and speaks French, English and German.

Juan Luis joined Triple Jump in 2016, and is currently responsible for Advisory Services supporting Financial Service Providers (FSPs) in Triple Jump´s portfolio across regions. Juan Luis supports FSPs accelerating their Digital Transformation process and Social Outcome Management leveraging on more than 10 years’ experience helping digitalize the financial inclusion sector and 16 years overall accelerating financial inclusion. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Juan Luis acquired 10 years of experience in financial inclusion building expertise on strategy and business development, digital &amp; innovative models, client centric approaches, and agile project management. Juan Luis led advisory services and business development initiatives at I-DEV International and EFL Global (Now Lenddo EFL), and led MSME finance and sustainable energy finance projects at International Finance Corporation (IFC). Juan Luis has an MBA from McCombs School of Business at UT Austin, and a BSc in Economics at Universidad de Lima. Juan Luis is a Peruvian national and speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Julia acquired eight years experience in the business incubation industry. She worked as a project manager for the European Business and Innovation Center Network (EBN) before joining the World Bank Group, where she spent five years strengthening infoDev’s experience in private sector development, including through the design and implementation of innovative business incubation and early-stage financing services. Julia holds a MSc in European Communities and Union Law from Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III University and a MSc in European Political and Public Affairs from ISMaPP. She is a French national and speaks French, English, Dutch, Greek and Spanish.

As a Technical Assistance Manager at Triple Jump, Roan supports companies and financial institutions to enhance their own operations or impact. This support is either through tailored trajectories or via the in-house designed programs. Before joining Triple Jump, Roan helped companies in the energy access sector by working on sector-wide initiatives and providing companies support to increase their access to capital. She co-authored in 2021 a KPI framework addressing the need for sector stakeholders to align the assessment of companies performance. Originally from the Netherlands, Roan holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and management studies from The Hague University and master’s degree in innovation management and entrepreneurship from ESADE Business School.

Baroness is passionate about International Development and Business Sustainability. Prior to joining Triple Jump she accumulated years of professional experience in Kenya. She worked as an Agribusiness Consultant providing technical support to agricultural enterprises. Prior to that she worked at Safaricom PLC in their Customer Service Department. She also worked at Kenya Literature Bureau in the Sales Department and Tea Board of Kenya in the Technical Advisory Services Department. She holds an Erasmus Mundus master’s in International Rural Development from Ghent University, Belgium. It included exchange semesters at The University of Pisa, Italy and The University of Pretoria, South Africa. She also holds a BSc. Agricultural Economics and Rural Development from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya. She is a Kenyan national and is a native Kiswahili speaker. She is also fluent in English.

Kia joined Triple Jump in 2023 and is responsible for assessing and managing the ESG and impact of Triple Jump’s EEGF fund in the sustainable energy portfolio. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Kia worked at GOGLA, the global association for off-grid solar energy industry where she focused on increasing investment readiness and access to finance for locally-owned and managed African solar SMEs and also contributed to the set-up of climate mitigation, resilience and adaptation workstreams for the sector. Previously she worked in an energy access/clean cooking start-up as operational assistant. Kia holds an MSc in International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam (NL) and a BA in International Relations and Politics from the University of Sheffield (UK). Kia is a Finnish national and speaks fluent English and Finnish and intermediate French and Swedish.

Alina manages Triple Jump's impact and sustainability data across business lines. She joined Triple Jump as part of the AMID Young Professional programme in 2023, which combines state-of-the-art academic and practical training in the field of sustainable development. She holds a Research Master’s degree from the University of Amsterdam, where she specialized in inclusive development and sustainable economics. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Alina worked in the field of international relations, human rights and policy-oriented research. She holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences with Major Governance from the University of Freiburg, Germany.

Lisa joined Triple Jump in 2017 as Relationship Manager and since 2021 is the Manager of the Investor Relations and Business Development team. Prior to joining Triple Jump, she worked for 10 years at various positions within ING. In her last role she was responsible for the informal investing proposition of ING Private Banking. She started at ING Wholesale Banking in the relationship management department and has several years of experience working within the Structured Acquisition Finance team structuring the financing of private equity acquisitions. Lisa holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen. Lisa is a Dutch national and speaks Dutch and English.

Laura Ospina joined Triple Jump in 2023 as Investor Relations Manager. Prior to joining Triple Jump, she worked for 6 years at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). In her last role, she served as an advisor to the United States Executive Director, at the Board of Directors, where she liaised with U.S. government agencies to establish U.S. voting positions on projects in fragile states and Gender and Diversity policies. Prior to IDB, she worked for the International Organization for Migration (IOM), where she created and edited marketing materials for IOM's non-profit partner USAIM about the UN's blue heart campaign in the Caribbean. She holds a MA in international affairs with a concentration in international development and conflict resolution from the George Washington University and a B.A. in International Relations from Florida International University. She is a dual citizen from the United States and Colombia. She is native in English and Spanish with basic command of French and Portuguese.

Francesca joined Triple Jump in 2023 as Legal Counsel Regulatory in the Investors Relations and Business Development team. Prior to joining Triple Jump, Francesca worked for two years for a corporate services provider based in Amsterdam. During this period, she advised a wide range of corporate and private equity clients on corporate legal matters and assisted them throughout investments, exits and intracompany transactions. Francesca holds a BA degree in International Relations and International Organizations from the University of Groningen and a LLM degree in International Business Law from the Free University of Amsterdam where she specialised in the regulatory aspects of business transactions and sustainability law. She is an Italian national and fluently speaks Italian, English, Dutch and Russian.

With 15 years of sustainable development experience in international NGOs, government, and the private sector in Africa and Europe, Leán’s expertise lies in strategic marketing, partnerships, and multi-stakeholder engagement. Previously she was the Head of Investment Promotion for Cape Town, ED for Fairtrade South Africa, Marketing Director for Blue Road Academy and Director at the Grootbos Foundation. Leán holds a Bachelors degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Stellenbosch. She is South African and speaks English, Afrikaans and intermediate Dutch. She is committed to leveraging storytelling and communication strategies to drive positive change. She enjoys playing padel, running and a good glass of wine.

Sasha manages the legal team, assisting clients (both internal and external) to structure, negotiate, close and monitor a range of cross-border financings aimed at private sector development. With a specialty in private equity funds, she has also worked extensively on direct equity investment and debt instruments in Latin America, MENA, and southern and eastern Asia.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Giorgi worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at TBC Capital, a leading brokerage firm and investment bank in Georgia. As a transactional advisor, he has obtained professional experience in capital markets and finance by providing legal advice on debt and equity financing, corporate and M&A transactions, brokerage services, public and private bond placement, ongoing regulatory initiatives, etc. Giorgi holds a bachelor’s degree (LL.B.) in Law from Caucasus University (Tbilisi, Georgia), a master’s degree (LL.M.) in Law and Business from Bucerius Law School (Hamburg, Germany) and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Georgian Technical University (Tbilisi, Georgia). Giorgi is in the process of cross-qualifying as an England and Wales solicitor. He is a Georgian national and speaks Georgian and English.

After my studies in Fiscal Economics in Rotterdam, I spent 7 amazing months travelling in South America before starting my career at Deloitte as a tax advisor. My next adventure took place in Asia, combining travels and working for a small microfinance institution in Cambodia, before I joined Triple Jump.

Prior to working for Triple Jump, Rudolph was working for PwC in their office of Luxembourg and Zurich as an Assistant Manager on audits of Private Equity funds. Rudolph is a CFA charter holder and holds a Master’s degree in Market Finance from Toulouse Business School and from Toulouse University 1 Capitole in France. He is French and speaks French, English, German and Dutch.

Anuki joined Triple Jump as a Fund Administrator in October 2021. As of April 2023, she has transitioned to the role of Fund Accountant, where she is responsible for fund financial and portfolio reporting. Before her tenure at Triple Jump, Anuki spent over five years in the accounting and treasury departments at the headquarters of FINCA Impact Finance. She is ACCA member and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of Georgia.

MBA Candidate at Universidad de Palermo (Argentina), Licentiate Degree in Economics at Universidad de Lima (Peru), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). He has +4 years working in Compliance (Regulatory/Monitoring&amp;Testing/ Anti-money Laundering ), SOX Internal Control, and Operational Risk. Before joining TJ, he worked at Citibank (USA), Scotiabank (Canada), Banco Interamericano de Finanzas (Peru), and the Interamerican Development Bank (USA). Currently, he focuses on the day-to-day management of the KYC/ CDD/EDD process to onboard and renew institutional clients such as large banks, MFIs, SMEs, foundations/ associations records to regulatory standards for Latin America &amp; The Caribbean.

Mariam Gvilava graduated from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA), School of Law and Politics, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Law. Previously, she worked as a paralegal at the Paine Stevens Law Firm which is practicing English and Georgian law with a focus on cross-border transactions in the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Turkey, involving finance, corporate and commercial matters. Prior to that, Mariam worked as a project assistant for the USAID-Crystal Fund Joint Project – Supporting Youth and Women Entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Karolina worked as Project Officer at the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission in Brussels. She worked on the Town Twinning Project, a program that contributes to the EU citizens' understanding of the values and diversity of the European Union. Karolina obtained her Master’s Degree in International Relations and European Studies from the Metropolitan University in Prague. Karolina is a Czech national and speaks Czech, Slovak and English.

Prior to joining, Triple Jump, Didier worked as Portfolio Risk Officer at Aegon Asset Management, where he worked for 9 years in modeling and managing investment risk. He has also worked in Shell Asset Management and Shell Trading in The Netherlands and the US, where he held various quantitative and portfolio management roles in the Front Office and Risk Management. He started his career at Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) in Mexico City after finishing his studies. Didier studied Actuarial Science at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM. He is Mexican and holds Dutch citizenship as well.

Givi has over 11 years of banking/finance experience. His areas of expertise include, asset-liability and liquidity management as well as financial market, fundraising and FX operations. Prior to joining Triple Jump in 2017, he served as head of treasury at FINCA Bank and previously at ProCredit Bank Georgia. Givi holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree with concentrations in bank management, audit and financial market analysis from Saarland University, Germany and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Tbilisi State University, Georgia. He is a Georgian national and speaks German, English, Russian and Georgian.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Hande worked for over 20 years at T. Garanti Bank A.S in Istanbul, Turkiye and Garantibank International N.V. in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She has held positions in the Foreign Trade Operations, Import and Export, Central Transactions Due Diligence, KYC, and Internal Control Departments. Most recently, Hande worked as a Risk and Control Assurer in the Strategy, Security, and Control Department. Hande holds a degree in Econometrics from the University of Marmara in Istanbul and did her master’s in Operational Research also at the University of Marmara. Hande speaks fluent English and Turkish.

Rimmer has over 15 years of experience in Digital, Operations &amp; Change Management. Prior to joining Triple Jump in 2020, he worked as Head of Business Innovation at Intertrust Group, before that as general manager of a startup and in management consulting. Rimmer is a Dutch national that speaks Dutch, English and Italian.

In 2017 Gera joined Triple Jump and since 2020 she is responsible for project portfolio management. This department supports project and change capabilities in Triple Jump, empowering Triple Jump to be an adaptive and agile organization. Prior to joining Triple Jump and throughout her career, Gera managed projects and programs of various nature. She was for example involved in numerous digital financial services projects with financial institutions in Sub-Sahara Africa. Previously, Gera worked for 20 years in the banking sector for ING Group and the Dutch Central Bank. Gera has a Master’s degree in theoretical and development economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She is a Dutch national.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Arbër worked in the IT consulting industry as a program/project manager dealing with Digital Transformation in the government and banking sector. He has extensive experience in Microfinance and Banking covering several roles in both the IT and financial realm such as System Administration, Portfolio Management and Third Party Relations. He is an accredited Professional Scrum Master and Professional Product Owner from the Scrum Organization (Scrum.Org) and the International Scrum Institute. He is an Albanian national and speaks Albanian, English, French and Italian.

Maurycy Blaszczak, a confluence of strategic thinking, technological savvy, and human-centric leadership, passionate about turning the intricate maze of organizational challenges into structured pathways brimming with opportunities. Maurycy graduated Rotterdam School of Management Cum Laude with title of MSc in Strategic Management and received Management and Leadership certificates from Harvard Business School. He also holds Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management and Programme Management certificates. At Triple Jump, Maurycy is championing data-driven approach, structuring and improving processes, and contributing to strategic management of the company.

I've joined Digital and Change team at Triple Jump as a Data Analyst. Prior to Triple Jump I was working as Data Analyst at FINCA Impact Finance, where I was working on portfolio analysis and reporting for different subsidiaries. Before that, I was working in accounting industry. I am Georgian citizen and I speak in Georgian and English.

Prior to joining Triple Jump in 2021, Margherita worked for more than 13 years in London. She started her career at Morgan Stanley Bank, in private wealth management, and then worked in a few CFDs trading firms, in the Compliance space. Before moving to the impact investment industry, Margherita worked as a consultant in regulatory compliance, financial crime prevention, governance, culture and integrity matters for firms in the financial sector. Margherita holds an MA in Human Rights and Social Justice from the London Metropolitan University (UK) and a degree in Sociology from La Sapienza University (Italy). She also holds professional diplomas in Compliance, and Financial Crime Prevention from the International Compliance Association (ICA). She is an Italian national and speaks Italian, English and Spanish.

Jack joint Triple Jump in November 2023. Jack started his career at ABNAMRO bank and subsequently progressed his career at Telefonica and Deutsche Telekom in London. Here he held both commercial as well as financial roles. In 2019 Jack returned to Amsterdam and joint the scale-up PlaytoWork. At PlaytoWork Jack implemented a clear financial performance framework. Based on this framework the company was able to pivot to the right business model and find the sweet spot in the market. The financial transparency created by Jack, led to the company achieving its goals quicker. Jack holds an Economics degree from the Vrij Universiteit (the Netherlands) and completed his MBA as Purdue University (USA). In his spare time Jack enjoys playing tennis and escapes the city by rowing on the Amstel river.

Prior to joining Triple Jump in January 2024, Yacine worked as Financial Controller at Agora Microfinance N.V. and brings with her many years of experience in the manufacturing, real estate and Microfinance industries. She is a Chartered Accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered accountants and holds a Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa. Being passionate about the future of sustainable finance, she has recently completed the CESGA certification to become a certified ESG analyst with EFFAS – The European Federation of Financial Analyst Societies. Yacine is a South African national and speaks Afrikaans and English.

Prior to joining Triple Jump, Sophia worked as a Group Company Secretary at EXIN Group and Citco Group in Amsterdam. In her current and previous jobs, Sophia has gained experience with international business in the financial services industry as well as working in a diverse cultural climate. Sophia studied Dutch law (LLM) as well as Notarial law (LLM) at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and finished off her student life by doing an exchange programme at the University of Leeds and an internship with Loyens &amp; Loeff London. Sophia initially started her career in the notary offices of Baker &amp; McKenzie. She is a Dutch national.

Prior to joining Triple Jump in 2007, Jeanette worked as a financial administrator for the Treasury Department of EATON B.V. She continued on her career path and joined the Human Resource department at KLM. Jeanette holds a Master’s degree in Human Geography for Development and Internationalization from the University of Utrecht and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She is a Dutch national and speaks English, Dutch, Spanish and French.

I am an experienced HR professional hailing from Wellington, Aotearoa (New Zealand). While I am half Dutch by heritage, I'm 100% Kiwi at heart. Having called Amsterdam home for the past four and a half years, I've developed a strong affinity for the city and its vibrant culture. Beyond my HR expertise, my passions include producing music, exploring cuisine, and the nuances of natural wine. My journey in the field began as a People Operations Coordinator at VanMoof, where I played a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of HR records, and meticulously managing employee data. My time at VanMoof nurtured my ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment, aligning perfectly with the requirements of this role. I was working as a Hospitality professional in the HORECA industry for more than 5 years mainly in the Food & Beverage division. Before moving to the Netherlands I was coordinating promotional events in South Western Hungary for HD Group Communication Agency. I studied Tourism Management in Hungary. I speak Hungarian, English and Dutch.
